I would love to help you fulfill your Methow Valley dreams. Are you looking for acreage or a lot, or a cabin or a larger home—or even perhaps a commercial property? I would be honored to help you explore the beautiful and varied parts of our valley. If you are selling, I want to help you move on to your next adventure. My knowledge of this valley is extensive and long term. I moved to the Methow in 1978 after one visit. My husband Michael and I totally fell in love with this unique valley and stayed to raise our three kids here. People ask me about the changes I have seen in these almost 40 years. My reply is that yes, there have been many changes and, due to the concerted efforts of those of us who love this place, most of the changes have been good. Most people here want to keep the rural character that makes our home so special. We are a narrow band of private land surrounded by National Forest and state land with so many avenues for outdoor recreation of all kinds.
And the positive changes? More art, more music, more theater, interesting lecture series, incredible trail systems and more. We have world class musicians and artists of all kinds, Olympic athletes, good schools, and a wonderful welcoming community. What are your special interests? Let me know what interests you and that will help me to direct your search. Or if you like to explore on your own, I can help with that too.
I have been involved in sales and marketing all my adult life. In my twenties, I owned a successful retail store in downtown Portland, OR. After moving to the valley, I raised sheep and garlic and then had a dried flower harvesting, growing and processing business just south of Carlton. We wholesaled dried and preserved flowers all over the United States and Canada. I became a real estate agent/broker in 1998 and an associate/managing broker in 2002. Now my husband Michael Notaro is also a licensed broker so we can work as a team to serve you better.
